US SPECIAL OPERATIONS FORCES operating with Afghan Cavalry in November, 2001.

The Northern Alliance actually attacked Taliban armored units and succeeded in overcoming them. (Shades of the Poles against the Nazi tanks!)

The riders in light colored clothing are US Troops.
